Watershed High School is an arts-infused high school located in South Minneapolis. Watershed was started in 1996 for students pursuing a Waldorf education. In 2002, Watershed High School became a tuition-free public charter school. We welcome and encourage all students, especially those who feel disenfranchised. Students at Watershed High School are supportive of one another creating an atmosphere in which the gifts of each individual can emerge and be valued. In our community, every student is an honored student.

Our population is primarily at-risk students who are grouped into fluid, performance-based cohorts, where students learn with prescriptive learning levels through hands-on lessons. A key feature of Watershed High School is its inclusive student body, where each emerging adult is free to discover themselves in an atmosphere that encourages the unique gifts of each individual.
